Welcome to Downtown Kittanning!
Our goal at Downtown Kittanning Incorporated is to foster a positive local economy through community impact projects and offering our members resources to grow their business, create new jobs, and attract new homeowners to our beautiful town. We do this through a focus on 5 key areas:
- Drive vision and develop a decision-making process to carry out the long-term goals for the business community in the Kittanning area.
- Communicate information about business resources and best practices to foster growth for existing businesses and to mentor entrepreneurs.
- Develop and preserve the culture and beauty of Kittanning, especially through visual art.
- Promote special activities to support local business growth and to raise additional funds to support our annual goals.
- Advocate for local business through consistent communication with local government partners

Downtown Kittanning Donut Dash Returns! 🍩🏃
Join us Saturday, November 29th from 9 AM–3 PM for the return of the Downtown Kittanning Donut Dash, kicking off the holiday shopping season on Small Business Saturday!
From November 29th through December 19th, visit local shops and collect stamps as you go. Stop by 20+ participating businesses to complete your card and be entered to win exciting prizes from our local partners and DKI’s $250 Cash Prize Giveaway! Many businesses are offering their own individual giveaways — so the more stops you make, the more chances you have to win!
Kickoff day will be packed with fun! Participating stores will have free donuts, special deals, and even extra giveaways on November 29th to keep you fueled and festive for a full day of shopping downtown. Try to visit them all!

We offer new and existing business owners the resources they need to apply for loans, grants, and programs that help teach business owners how to improve their day to day business operations.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Kittanning Wine Walk, the Donut Dash, and Movies in the Park are just few of our signature community events. We are always working to develop programs to help improve Kittanning and the surrounding area.
